The Tudor Heritage Black Bay is the direct descendant of Tudor’s success in Greenland on the wrists of Royal Navy Sailors. The Heritage line distinguishes itself by the unique creative process of the brand’s style and the exceptional attention to detail. Instead of a mere replica, a Tudor Heritage timepiece is a powerful re-interpretation and stylistic encounter of the past, present and the future.
At Baselworld 2016, these design codes that contributed to the fame of historic models have been preserved and injected with modern touches to update its iconic status. We introduce to you, The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Dark.
A steel divers’ watch entirely in black steel fitted with a mechanical movement, developed, manufactured and assembled in-house by Tudor. The Heritage Black Bay Dark model is a fantastic new addition to the ever growing Heritage Black Bay family.
Like every Tudor time piece, the characteristic elements of the Heritage Black Bay Dark’s personality have been drawn from Tudors History. The prominent winding crown and snowflake hands stem from the famous 7924 reference of 1958. Other important historical design features that reappear on the model include; the guaranteed water depth indicator engraved in red on the dial and the red triangle on the rotatable bezel.
The 41mm stainless steel watch is coated in black PVD with a sophisticated satin- finish, giving it the appearance of black military utility equipment. With the choice of a bracelet or an aged leather strap, the Black Bay Dark is the epitome of style and quality.
