Spring has finally sprung! This can only mean one thing; that our showrooms are gleaming with a selection of brand new watches released at the internationally renowned exhibition, Baselworld held earlier on this year.
Every year promises a fresh opportunity to fall in love again, Baselworld 2016 was no exception. For Rudells watch buyers and for many industry enthusiasts, the Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze was one of the most talked about releases of the year.
The Tudor Heritage Black Bay family is constantly developing and growing with new releases to whet the appetites of watch connoisseurs. Since 2014, Tudor has maintained the legacy of the brand, with some of the most important references in the history of Tudor having been reworked within the Heritage line.
The 43mm Divers’ watch, inspired by the brands history, is fitted with a mechanical movement developed, manufactured and assembled by Tudor.
The characteristic elements of the piece’s personality have been drawn from Tudors History. It inherits the general lines, as well as the dial and domed crystal, from the very first Tudor diving watches that dates back to 1954.
It features the particularly prominent winding crown from the famous 7924, known as ‘Big Crown’. It borrows the characteristic angular hands, known as snowflake, from the watches delivered in large quantities to the French National Navy in the 1970s.
The Aluminium Bronze Alloy Case
The unique, characteristic element of the Heritage Black Bay Bronze is the striking bronze case, an aesthetic reference to the use of bronze in historic ships and other diving equipment.
The choice of the high-performance aluminium bronze alloy, guarantees the development of a subtle and unique patina to match its user’s habits. A combination of chocolate-brown dial and bezel, a first for Tudor, compliments the golden and beige accents completing the model’s look.
