Luxury Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer, unveiled its latest smart technology model, the ‘second generation’ Connected Modular 45 watch on March 14.
With press conferences in Switzerland and California to launch the latest model, which is engineered in collaboration with Intel and Google, the watch is brand new in the field of connected watches. Combining connectivity and smart technology with Swiss watchmaking expertise, the watch was designed, developed and assembled in Switzerland by TAG. This Swiss rigour and accuracy alongside watchmaking expertise has earned it the “Swiss Made” label, the guarantee of the highest standards of Swiss quality. The same techniques, the same meticulous finish, the same attention to the minutest detail, the same exacting standards. The new watch offers a vast choice of materials, colours and combinations, giving it the title of a ‘truly modular watch’. The luxury Swiss made watches are water resistant to 50 metres, feature GPS, a high definition screen and NFS sensors for contactless payment. With a selection of customisable TAG Heuer dials, this is nothing less than a luxury watch tailored to suit your mood.
The Connected Modular 45, measuring at 45mm in diameter, features a beautiful design and bold aesthetic, with a personalised concept available applying to lugs, straps and buckles. Thanks to interactive counters, the watch can display up to three favourite apps on the dial: the number of steps taken, the number of calories burned, the dollar rate, and free time before the next meeting. Depending on your interests, you can have everything you need at your fingertips. The watch can easily be synchronized with a mobile phone operating on Android 4.3+ or iOS 9+. It is recharged using a contact charger. Simply place the watch on top of the charger to recharge it.
