In 2011 Rudells introduced a jewellery design competition which was open to all company employees. The result of this was the introduction of 'Embrace' and subsequently, 'Embrace' 'Pave', 'Legacy' and 'Destiny', all of which are exclusive to Rudells. The latest addition to the impressive in-house designed portfolio is 'Wheel'. The simple design in 18ct yellow gold has a polished and satin textured finish, set with modern round brilliant cut diamonds. The 'Wheel' was designed by Rebecca Lopez who is the watch repairs administrator at Rudell's Wolverhampton showroom. Currently available as a pendant and drop earrings but there is also a bracelet which is scheduled to be available a little later in the summer. Rebecca is extremely proud of the finished piece which was devised as she 'doodled' while on the telephone one day. The design took shape and was then reworked by the Rudell Design team to transform it into a more classical jewellery design. Rebecca says 'I'm really excited to be able to show my design to our customers and say I designed it. My prize for creating this design was the very first pendant to arrive from the workshop and I wear it every day with great pride.' All of the Rudell exclusive collections can be viewed in both the Wolverhampton and Harborne showrooms.
