The Royal Woverhampton Hospital NHS Trust celebrated their tenth year of the 'Royal Awards' on the 11th April at the Wolverhampton Wanderers Molineux stadium. Introduced in 2004, the awards are presented to members of staff from all disciplines within the hospital and are presented in recognition to those who go above and beyond the call of duty.
Thursday 10th April saw blue skies and sunshine and the feeling of spring was definitely in the air. A perfect day for Rudells the Jewellers to entertain over 30 VIP clients to a Champagne reception, followed by a presentation on the global icon that is Cartier.
Baselworld 2014 has officially concluded. The eight outstanding show days brought together around 150,000 attendees enjoying the marvellous surroundings of internationally renowned and admired watch and jewellery brands, showcasing stunning new pieces. With a great enthusiasm from both exhibitors and visitors, the event was a huge success leaving everyone reinvigorated and optimistic for the year to come.
Palladium is an element that is part of the Platinum family. It was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston who named it after the asteroid Pallas, which itself was named after Pallas Athene, the Greek goddess of war, wisdom and crafts.
