At 2am on the 31st March our clocks will go forward one hour, symbolising the start of the British summer time (BST). The mornings will be darker but we will be able to enjoy more daylight in the evenings this known as Daylight Saving Time. We have all been through the procedure of adjusting our clocks, watches and appliances. But why do we actually need to adjust the time at all?

On the 14/11/2012 my life changed forever, my partner gave birth to our gorgeous baby twins, a baby girl weighing 6lbs 9oz and a baby boy weighing 4lbs 12oz. My true miracle and they are both the apple of my eye. A few months on and they are growing quickly and changing day by day. I decided I wanted mark their birth with some special gifts and trinkets. I started to look around the Rudells showroom to get some ideas. I purchased them each a wonderfully decorated Royal Portrait Halcyon Days egg cup with Mother-of-Pearl spoon. A piece that was specifically created for the queens Golden Jubilee. I also bought them each a Links of London Team GB bracelet, a small keepsake from the London 2012 Olympic Games. Two gifts that mark what is a truly special year 2012 was for Britain. As well I found two antique silver spoons dating back to the beginning of the last century.
